MEET THE TEAM
Lucky Buddy Co. is built by one guy and his buddy. The goal is simple: great coffee, a real community, and consistent giving to rescue dogs and veteran/first responder causes.

I grew up in rural Northeast Oregon. Like a lot of kids from small towns, I played sports, worked hard, and learned early that you take care of your people and you do what you say you're going to do.
I went to college for sports medicine, and that's where I first got exposed to supporting military units through human performance work. Over time, that turned into years of traveling across the United States—and overseas—working as a civilian contractor alongside service members. That experience shaped me in a way I didn't expect. I experienced what tight teams look like. I experienced what discipline and standards really mean. I also saw the long-term cost of service and what many veterans and first responders carry when the mission ends and life keeps moving.
Lucky Buddy Co. exists because I couldn't just walk away from that. I care about that community deeply, and I wanted to build something that does more than sell a product. The mission is personal: support rescue dogs, support veterans and first responders, and build a brand that stands for loyalty and second chances. This isn't a one-time donation or a marketing angle—it's the reason the company exists, and it's what guides every decision we make as we grow.
Sarge is a rescued red-nose pit bull and the heart of Lucky Buddy Co. He's also the daily reminder behind the mission. When you've seen what a second chance can do for a dog—how they come back to life once they're safe and trusted—it changes the way you see everything else.
His job title is Chief Morale Officer, but what he really does is keep the brand grounded: loyalty is real, second chances matter, and the best things are built one day at a time.
